'Kaash hota'

Its surprising that even in today's age , we still have moments like these :'Oh, I wish I had my camera' like I had mine today morning on my way to office. So all we are left with now is my words and your imagination skills! Lets give it a try...Just picture this .... We are driving to office. On the way , there comes a strip of land on my right hand side filled with hay, far away I can see few houses and further away its all covered with trees. And then there I can see the perfect big orange sun on the tinted blue sky (Yes! I get up and start really early these days :( But I get to see sunrise!) Everyday the shades on the sky are different and everytime its breath-taking...But there was this perfect view today I hope I get a chance to see again! There was a huge amount of smoke coming out from one of the houses (I am not surprised! It was freezing cold ! Somebody must have tried to warm up the house.... Arghhh .... there I talked about the weather again x-( ) ..... The view of the sun through the layers of smoke made the dawn look so ethereal! And right at this moment , when I thought of taking a picture , I realized I have forgotten my mobile phone at home... Sad! But no matter how many pictures one takes in life , I am sure we all have our moments when we say 'I wish I had my camera with me' .... 'Kaash hota'!

Ohhh u missed that one...now come to think of it..in general...there were so many photographs which had captured so many amazing moments in my life..now suddenly it strikes me where are they all gone ? ..i am able to trace only half of them..my childhood birthdays..school photos..family gettogethers..even there also existed only one photo on this planet which had you and me standing with our group..now i m thinking arey yaar woh kahan rakha :( :( ...with time things pile up..no. of almirahs and cupboards and trunks and house store rooms increase...( a small deviation-i had the most amazing stamp collection those days..over 3000 world class stamps with sooo many rare ones..i can still make a fortune by selling them..but i am not able to find those for last 10 yrs...maybe the rats made a fortune of their appettite with them :( ) You know with the advent of Digital photography and computers, people were so happy..coz polaroid photos(flash camera wala which we used to click before advent of 'The Mobile Phone' ) would fade away with time..loose color..and the paper would deteriorate..but digital pic files can be saved forever...however we were proved wrong...the digital world evolved so rapidly that we had to upgrade technology now and then..the first time i scanned some special photo (scanning used to be a luxury those days)in my floppy drive... a year later floppy became obsolete..i guess i managed to save some of them in my 2.1 GB HDD back then (in an era of 1.2 GB HDD, that used to be "Neighbours envy Owners Pride" )..1 yr later..even that became obsolete...i hit upon the idea that i will save most special pics my sending them in my email(internet had just started to become affordable..Rs 20/hr)...now when I open my mailbox..more than 10000 inbox msgs(and maybe when the mail servers shifted from limited to unlimited capacity or maybe when i changed my a/c or something had happened...half of my initial mails are lost or deleted)..so those pics are also virtually lost..and in between i have changed dozens of laptops and hoards of desktops....but still.. if i do a "bodycount"..most of the digital pics are MIA(Missing in Action) as compared to Polaroid ones.. i can still open a fat rusty album of Good old Polaroid pics and see my parents wedding album..me as 1 yr old ..2 yr old..3 yr..4 yr...till the dawn of digital age...so i think ...if i were in your place..looking at the perfect sunrise in backdrop of vast open land and a house with chimney chugin out smoke..i would have said " AGAR HOTA TO BHI KYA HOTA.." ..lol...sometimes i thing the best photographing device is our memory..thankfully i can still see in my mind those pics from anytime of my life which i want to see..and so can you...in the end..i will leave you with the end scene of movie Titanic..where the 100+ yrs old Rose says she doest even have the photo of Jack..and then she sleeps..seeing those moments in her dream....

Its about time you should start your own blog :P Or may be you have. Then its time you should it here ! Its great to read your comments , and I think I know now who u r but lets call you 'M' as long as you feel like a machine :) I hope my posts are helping you come back to human space again ?!?

Btw , I have mostly all my pictures! there is a thing called Picasa or Web Albums!!! :P I mostly have all my pics uploaded in my web albums.... So I would stick to the statement 'Kaash hota' :P ... But I agree , there can be nothing better than capturing an image in your mind and let it be a part of your memories

naaah... u can never know who i am..u have guessed the wrong person again..coz we have never talked :D ..not interested in Human space either...and why i dont start my own blog..well..i dun like the idea anyone key in my name in the internet and reach a space where he can get into my thoughts...if someone knows ones thought it makes that person predictable to the other one.. and i wanna be as free and unpredictble as one can be :) ...ya picasa and fb are there to upload pics..so also once upon a time myspace(which is dead) and orkut(which is dying)..slowly these will become defunct... guess machines are evolving faster than life forms :)
