I always wanted to write this article but fell short of words to describe this incredible lady who made me what I am today and influences me everyday by just being there.

'My Mom'

MOM,

I still remember

You and me, in the Lawn (Shivpuri). You will be busy gardening and I will be playing around you.

-That was you bringing me closer to the Mother Nature. Wasn't it?

OR

You will be cooking at the kitchen while I will be playing the role of a teacher, pretending you to be my student and teaching you all the things that I learnt at school.

- That was you preparing me for the bigger battle of facing the entire world as a leader and not to be afraid to speak what you know.

OR

You will be pushing me to attend the kathak classes after long hours of school.

- That was you teaching me that one must make efforts to go behind one's passion.

OR

You would rehearse for your MA (English) papers in front of me.

- You were making me realize that it’s never too late to learn. One must keep learning.

OR

You would fight for my rights with the Collector in front of a crowd of some thousands of people.

- Yes I know. That was you again, making me feel fearless because I have you, Papa and Apa behind me all the time.

OR

You would wake up at 3 am to prepare tea for me while I would study for my exams.

- You were instilling strength in me to be able to work harder.

OR

You would travel from miles away to just ensure that I am staying comfortably.

- You can't help that. You are my Mom :)

Everything you did/do , every move you make - You teach me something. Your love and your care have made this life worth living. All these years, I have seen you growing and I have grown along with you. Your faith in yourself is incredible and it keeps our spirits alive. You play so many different roles together by just being you!! Mom , you really have made my life colorful :) I love you madly and always wish that you be with me.

Muuuaahhhh

Lots of love,

Chetna
