Love!

I feel so lucky to be surrounded by so many beautiful people who touch my heart in so many different ways everyday and make me understand that its only their love that makes me feel so perfect.

Happy Valentine's Day to all those lovely people and 'THANK U' for making me feel so loved.

I can't sleep!

Yes its 5:50 in the morning and I am just NOT SLEEPY!!! Huh! I hate this feeling when you know you should sleep and by not sleeping , you are actually dragging yourself into a big trouble and yet! you can't sleep. Gosh! my body is feeling it! God knows whats going on with my brain?!?

So to kill time, I decided to try Holgaish effect on different pictures(clicked by me) and the results did impress me. May be its the outcome of being deprived of sleep(Am I seeing stars there?! .... :P). What do you think of these?

Crazy birdies!

We are soon moving to London and that means I will be bidding farewell to my lovely home at Worcester. Although I am absolutely excited to explore one of the busiest cities of the world, there are things about Worcester that I am going to miss immensely. Between all the mess and packing, we both felt that it would be nice to spend our evenings doing what we love to do the most here : Yes! Feeding the birds, ducks and the swans. We grabbed a packet of bread and some mixed nuts and seeds for the birds and headed towards the river Severn. The moment I opened the bottle of seeds , the brigade of pigeons literally charged at me. What happens next ? Yes, I hand over the bird's food to Abhay and stand almost a kilometer away with the camera. Abhay did shoot a video at that very minute but do you think , in my craziest dream, would I ever post it here? :P

Relax birdies. Sit at one place and you all will get food :P Why can't birds sit quietly?? Phew!

See? I told you, there were just too many of them. I am not lying when I am saying this : few of them were in fact flying around my head :D

If those pigeons would have behaved properly , I would have been in that picture. :( Alas! :D. However , soon enough , a little girl came over and I gave her a piece of bread to feed the birds and she wasn't camera shy at all. She posed for me and also proved it that not all the girls are scared of birds in large numbers :D

Oh! She is so cute :)

There are 2 things I have observed about the experience of feeding the birds.

a) No matter how much food you carry for the birds , you'll always feel you should have carried some more. :)
b) No matter how much food you distribute, a bird will never sit at one place and will keep moving to grab the other bird's share !! ;)

Am gonna miss you birdies :)

Think Good Thoughts :)

I heard this lately while watching the movie 'The Iron Lady' and I came across it again today and felt that its worth a mention here. The words are beautiful and so apt!

What you think is what you do. Sooner or later your thoughts start reflecting in your actions. And habits are nothing but actions that you do unpretentiously. Your habits make you who you are and thus, you create your destiny!

Think over it and stay 'Positive' ! :)

P.S - Have you watched the movie 'The Iron Lady'? Its a great movie and definitely worth watching once. It may not impress viewers like the men in my family(my father/my Bro-in-law and Abhay) who are already well au courant with polictics and history. :) But Meryl Streep definitely deserves a round of applause for her performance.

SNOW SNOW EVERYWHERE! :)

My hands are freezing cold. My face has lost the colour and my fingers are hardly working. Yes! I spent the whole day outside and enjoyed my first experience of snow in the UK. I have literally spent almost a quarter of my life in places where it snows but unfortunately I vaguely remember it (Thanks to my childhood pictures!). Even last year it didn't snow in the UK.And so ! This year I left no stone unturned to pray and wish for a heavy snowfall and today morning, when I raised the curtains, there it was : tiny little flakes of snow! Heavens :) I grabbed my camera, wrapped myself with woollen garments and dragged Abhay outside to witness this beautiful day :) I threw snowballs at Abhay, got hit my many more, made a snow man , dressed him up, took pictures, skid twice on the ice, then took more pictures ... yes! I did it all :) The weather forecast says that its not going to snow anymore tonight or tomorrow. But whatever I witnessed today was great fun and will remain in my memories forever now :) I am at peace :)

Words cannot do justice to this lovely experience and thus, I am leaving you all with some pictures I have taken today.
